"I first met
Lori Williams at a sales management seminar and was impressed by her
delivery of the management concepts we sometimes lose sight of in
our busy day-to-day. Recognizing that there was an opportunity for
our management team to go "back to the basics" we hired Lori to
"retrain" us on how to improve the control over our results by
following a more structured follow up and tracking system, providing
accurate and timely feedback and adapting our coaching to the
employee's learning style.
Due to the size
of our company and the importance of following up on her training to
ensure its implementation, we hired her on a consulting basis for
several months to facilitate weekly one-on-one coaching sessions
with our managers for a duration of 10 to 12 weeks per manager. As a
result of working with Lori, all of our managers went back to
mandatory weekly reporting by all employees as well as structured
one-on-one meetings with them which allowed us to increase the
coaching opportunities and improve results and/or deal with negative
performance faster.
Working with
Lori was always easy and she often added value by provided
information that went beyond the general scope of her assignments.
She always delivered on her commitments including adhering to the
principles that she teaches with direct communication and feedback,
being accountable for her results, and being honest in the
relationship when she felt she should not be investing her time in
coaching specific individuals that were not committed to our
